With Halloween only days away, you may be scrambling for a costume that is easy to put together quickly and doesn't have a cheap store-bought look to it. Many DIY costumes may require you to run out and grab arts and crafts odds and ends that you'd rarely keep in your home year-round. However, TikTok and Instagram user Brittany Hagan made a DIY that's super creative and easy to recreate at home with stuff you definitely already have on hand. If you want your very own Stanley Cup Halloween costume, look no further. Here's how you can make your own just in time for the fast-approaching holiday.

How to make a Stanley Cup costume

Recently, Hagan, a teacher, went viral for showcasing her Stanley Cup costume process. It first started out with a crewneck sweater matching the color of her own tumbler.

She opted to use her Cricut to print and stick the Stanley logo to her crew neck, but tracing, stenciling, or free-handing the logo on your choice of crewneck, T-shirt, or tank top will work perfectly, as well.

For the top straw part of the costume, Hagan took an empty paper towel roll, cut it about half size, and wrapped it in gray paper. White computer paper is also ideal for use here. Next, you'll add a round cardboard base to your paper towel roll with glue. Then you'll glue your base to a headband. Voila, you're a little Stanley!
